Language Proficiency Assessment (LPA) |
This includes a written test and a speaking test. Written test – Write an expository essay of 250 to 300 words on a given topic related to the themes covered in the course in 40 minutes. You will take this test on CANVAS in class.
Assessment criteria:
Speaking test – Give a short speech of about 2 minutes providing solutions to problems or topics covered in the course. At the end of your speech, the assessor will ask you a follow-up question which will require you to give a very brief reply. You will have 1 minute to prepare, on the spot, for your speech. You will take this test individually with your instructor in class. Assessment criteria:
