You are expected to develop your skills outside class in your own time – both to prepare for the coming class and to extend learning in areas that you decide are important to you.

  • effort preparing for and participating in consultations and electives

Discussion skills coursework

Various regular in-class discussions through the lessons contribute to this grade.

Reflective diary

 

Submit 3 written paragraph-length texts (each about 150 words) which demonstrate your critical reflection on 3 sources.

Presenting alternative perspectives assessment

Submit a talking-head video of a talk (3-4 min) which demonstrates a critical response to a source, and provide a concise written summary (about 150 words).
