APA Citation Style Workshop & Re-run


The aim of this workshop is to introduce the important aspects of using the APA Citation Style to format essays and papers.


Upon attending this workshop, students are expected to:

  1. Learn how to format their papers;
  2. Learn how to write a reference entry that matches with their citation;
  3. Practise writing reference entries using sample texts.

Please note that this workshop is introductory and should cover most basic questions about using the APA Citation Style. If you have more detailed questions, you should visit the HKUST Library or the APA’s website.

  1. All sessions of the activity will be conducted online. Please go through the guidelines here, which detail the preparation and computer equipment required, before joining in the event.
  2. All sessions offered in this term listed as below:

    • Mon 29 Mar 2021 (12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m.) (Re-run) for UG & PG students.
    • Wed 28 Apr 2021 (6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) (Re-run) for PG students only.
  3. Please note that the workshop facilitator reserves the right to cancel the workshop in case of insufficient attendance.
