This course aims to prepare you for the Use of English paper of the Common Recruitment Examination organized by the Civil Service Examinations Unit of the Hong Kong Government. You will learn about the various parts of the test: error identification, sentence completion, paragraph improvement and reading comprehension. The related language strategies for handling the test will also be examined.

Remarks	Students who have taken the CRE workshop before need NOT take this course. Please note that it takes time to practice the language skills and strategies you are going to learn from this course. To benefit most from it, you are advised to take it well before the examination. Courses in late August and March, or earlier, are recommended.  Details of the CRE exams can be found on the Civil Service Bureau website (http://www.csb.gov.hk/english/recruit/cre/949.html). In line with the university arrangements in response to the coronavirus outbreak, we accept online payment only (i.e. Visa/Master cards).
