Are you an aspiring science writer? Science writers play an essential role in explaining complex scientific information and bringing the news of remarkable discoveries to the public. The first step to learning about science writing is mastering informal and formal language.

In ‘Levels of Formality’, students will:

Explore and evaluate features of informal and formal language relating to science
Produce a short science text
