HSK Online Mock Test Service
(for Non-Chinese Language Background Speakers)

Are you considering landing a job in China after graduation?
Get ahead in your Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) preparation with iLANG!


iLANG is now offering the HSK Online Mock Test Service to all non-Chinese speaking HKUST students who want to improve their Chinese and prepare for the HSK test. Visit our Language Commons (Room 3018); you will have the chances to:

  • check your current Chinese proficiency level FREE of charge;
  • quickly familiarize yourself with the HSK test format and contents; and
  • select targeted exercises to enhance your essential skills.

User Guideline

  • Present your student ID card for attendance taking upon arrival at the counter;
  • Log into our system on the designated computer and select a test paper online;
  • Take the mock test within the specified time limits;
  • Submit the answers and refer to the explanations of the correct answers;
  • Check out at the counter and get your student ID card back;
  • Make an appointment with the Chinese LAO via email (clehsk@ust.hk) if any consultation is needed.

Rules

  • Only HKUST students are eligible for the service.
  • Each session lasts for a maximum of 2.5 hours.
  • Places are offered on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Service hours (except public holidays and temporary closure)
  • Term time: Mondays – Fridays 9:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. Summer & Winter sessions: Mondays – Fridays 9:00a.m. – 5:15p.m.
