The workshop aims at exploring the following issues with you:
- Discuss and examine key elements of a Personal Statement of History and Statement of Purpose essay
- Learn and share useful tips for structuring and organizing a personal essay
- Develop appropriate content to include in their essay, based on individual history and experience
- Discover how to use correct language to communicate your achievements effectively
- Compose a first or second draft of a personal essay
- Receive personalized facilitator and peer feedback on their writing in-class
