The Cantonese Corner

(for Non-Chinese Language Background Speakers)

All sessions will be conducted online.

Come, have fun and chitchat about almost anything in Cantonese with our friendly facilitator!

Eligibility	All undergraduate and postgraduate students (Non-Chinese Language Background Speakers only) of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology are welcome.
Medium of Communication	All “The Cantonese Corner” sessions are conducted in Cantonese and English.

Registration Method	Please sign up for the session you would like to attend at least 1 day in advance. No walk-ins are allowed.

Rules	Students must register at least 1 day in advance through the online registration system. Booking is limited to 2 sessions per week. Students are to use the online registration system to reschedule and cancel their bookings if necessary. The rescheduling and cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the registered session through the online registration system. Students who are more than 10 minutes late for the registered session are regarded as no-shows. No-show students can still attend the registered sessions but are required to wait for 3 weeks before they can make further bookings for any of “The Cantonese Corner” sessions.
