Workplace Communication Series (April 9)

Part 1

In each session of iLANG’s Workplace Communication Series, two working professionals will share their experiences about communication in the real world context of the workplace.

In this event, you will have the chance to:

  • Learn about different industries and the type of communication that is involved in various roles
  • Meet professionals from different industries
  • Learn how they navigate communication issues specific to their industry

  • Information about the speakers:

    Josh has had over 16 years in the IT industry and is currently an IT Project Manager for a local bank. In his role, he spends over 90% of his work time communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

    Alex was a former Assistant Director in the Hong Kong Fire Services Department and has over 30 years of experience in firefighting, fire safety, rescue, and other emergency services.

    Please note this activity has two different events. The second event will have different speakers and a different focus of workplace communication. Students are welcome to join both events.
