Writing Expressively with Richer Vocabulary


Would you struggle to find five different adjectives to describe yourself when applying for jobs?

 

Are you at a loss for words to describe the powerful emotions you feel when your team wins an important match?

 

Do you find it hard to recall and use new vocabulary even though you have spent hours memorizing them?  

 

If you answered ‘YES’ to any of the above questions, you should attend this course. The focus of this course is to help you learn more appropriate vocabulary in an effective way. Using the right words will make your writing more compelling and colorful. The course will also introduce a variety of proven methods to enrich your vocabulary. 100 words are waiting for you to spice up your English. Come along to the course and learn to cook up a storm with your writing! 

 

By the end of the course, you are expected to: 

  • use the right word(s) in the right context
  • use various methods to memorize new words
  • identify and avoid some confusing words
  • recall some interesting facts about the use of words
