Language assessment

His publications and research interests are in the fields of language testing and assessment, standard setting, curriculum alignment, and programme evaluation  He has served as chair of English language assessment review committees for primary and secondary education, and external examiner of programme validation committees for tertiary institutions. He has also served as chief examiner of a number of public and professional English language examinations.
