Jessie is keen on helping students reach their full potential in their English communication skills.  She specializes in teaching business students, and developing modules and organizing competitions on persuasive communication for undergraduate language courses.   Jessie is an experienced coordinator in business communication courses, and was a teacher trainer and assessor for the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA) test at the university.  She was a dedicated member of the Informal Curriculum for Language Learning (iLANG) team and led the English Language Activities unit to arrange a wide range of well-received activities, talks, workshops and programs to stimulate English learning outside the classroom, including sporting events, orienteering competitions, cooking classes, board games nights, intercultural communication workshops, speech crafting and delivery workshops, storytelling and drama workshops, vocabulary workshops, English Chit-chat Corner, and the English Language Buddy Scheme.  She is also experienced in coordinating English communication and leadership development camps, and English immersion camps for local and exchange students, and English training programs for the university’s technical staff.
