In the GenAI age, some people may think grammar is not an issue. However, GenAI may improve your grammar and sentence structures in writing, but it may not explain the rules and reasons for the output behind.  Nor is it good at improving one’s pronunciation. Therefore, if you wish to speak and write English accurately, this course is what you need. It aims at developing your ability to identify and correct common spoken and written inaccuracies in English, and understand the rules behind. You will also compare language styles and join us to learn strategies and tips to speak accurately and write effectively in English.

On completion of the course, you are expected to:

- Write a short piece before the first session and improve it with various e-tools;

- Learn pronunciation rules and speak more accurately;

- Distinguish easily confused words and correct common errors;

- Revise grammar rules to strengthen your language proficiency;

- Develop critical, analytical skills to verify the information ChatGPT generates; and

- Sharpen your own style and voice.
