June (JungYun) has extensive experience teaching Korean language and culture across multiple universities and secondary schools in Hong Kong, as well as Singapore and Vietnam.

June holds a Master's degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from Ewha Womans University, where her thesis examined The correlation between Korean pop culture consumption and Korean discourse marker usage ability. She also earned an MA from New York University and a BA from Seoul National University,

She is also an award-winning science fiction writer.
