This course builds essential academic literacy skills in researching, evaluating, and constructing credible, persuasive arguments through various communication methods. Focused on the humanities and social sciences, the course equips students with transferable skills for their wider university studies, such as conducting literature searches, evaluating sources, building strong arguments, and using multimodal and linguistic features to effectively engage specific audiences.
