Course Description

LANG 1310 is your perfect gateway to a new language and a broader worldview. Designed for absolute beginners, this 3-credit elective develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French from day one. By the end of the course, students will reach approximately A1.1 proficiency and be able to introduce themselves, talk about their interests, handle simple everyday situations, and communicate with greater confidence in basic social contexts.
