Awards, Scholarship & Research

Our scholarship grows out of teaching practice, reflection, and engagement with the wider field of language education. CLE faculty pursue inquiry that is practice-oriented, collaborative, and closely connected to real teaching and learning contexts. 

Our work appears in journal articles, book chapters, conference presentations, working papers, funded projects, talks, workshops, blogs, podcasts, and other public-facing formats. Through these activities, we aim to improve teaching and learning at HKUST, support professional development, and contribute to local and international conversations about language education.
