Martin Eastwood is originally from Mansfield, United Kingdom and holds a BA (Hons) in English & Politics from the University of York, as well as a MA TESOL from Lancaster University. He has worked in Hong Kong for over a decade, teaching at Education University, City University, HKBU, and CUHK, before joining the Center for Language Education, HKUST in August 2022. He has taught an eclectic mix of courses, including English literature, business communication, mass media, public speaking, and political science, among many others. His research interests include task-based instruction, student motivation and literature in language teaching.
