This workshop series aims to enhance your critical language awareness, intercultural competence, and AI literacy by examining gendered communication in Chinese and English contexts. Recognizing language’s central role in shaping identity and social norms, these bilingual seminars explore how gender assumptions are embedded, reinforced, and challenged through everyday linguistic practices. You will investigate gender representation in discourse, the reinforcement of social expectations, and the ways emerging AI technologies reshape existing linguistic patterns.
