English courses for Pathway 1 for undergraduate students admitted in 2024-25 or after

Students must take LANG 1402 (3 credits) followed by LANG 1406 (3 credits). 

After completing the above two courses, students may take Advanced Communication courses under the English Communication group: 

• as free electives or  

• to substitute for credits in 
  • the Cognitive Foundations of University Education: Critical Thinking and Data Literacy (CTDL) and  
  • the Undergraduate Experiential Opportunities Programs (UxOP) Common Core areas,
