The English Language Buddy Scheme (ELBS), offered by the iLANG team (Center for Language Education), is a great opportunity to socialize and be engaged in various fun activities guided by enthusiastic English speaking buddies.
Each English buddy will accompany 6 participants in the immersive learning journey which will help them to:
- Enlarge their social circles at HKUST by meeting friends from different schools and departments
- Explore interesting places and take up new hobbies for study-life balance and better cultural understanding
- Develop their interpersonal communication skills through interactive group gatherings
