The Chinese Drama for Oral Proficiency Improvement uses modern Chinese films as authentic materials to enhance learners’ speaking skills and cultural understanding. Through selected movie clips, students will analyze characters’ emotions, explore narrative contexts, and write short character profiles. The course emphasizes active engagement by memorizing key dialogues and performing role-play scenes, fostering fluency, pronunciation, and expressive delivery. By combining linguistic practice with dramatic interpretation, learners will develop confidence in oral communication while gaining insights into contemporary Chinese society and culture. 

Prerequisite: Intermediate-level or higher proficiency in Chinese is required.

Gentle Reminder: This workshop will be conducted exclusively in Mandarin Chinese.
