AHKLC Annual Symposium: The Launch of STiLE

31 May 2023

10:00am-6:00pm

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, LT-D

The Association of Hong Kong Language Centres is organising the AHKLC Annual Symposium: The Launch of STiLE on May 31 at HKUST. Our plenary speaker, Prof. Bee Bond, a Scholar-Practitioner from Leeds University in the UK, will give a talk entitled The Long and Winding Road: Teaching and Scholarship. The Symposium is designed to introduce the notion of scholarship and feature the newly launched Scholarship of Teaching in Language Education digital platform, STiLE. We will celebrate the contributions in the launch edition, with the authors sharing their experience of publishing in STiLE. In addition to workshops on scholarship, there will be scholarship talks in parallel sessions. Additionally, we plan to devote a full strand to Generative AI, given the importance of this new development for language education. Please show your support by joining the Symposium. As we launch this platform by and for language practitioners, the Association welcomes your presence whether as a speaker, or as an attendee.

For registration, please see the AHIKLC website for details.
