Cinematopia: The Film Discussion Group is an English-based activity for students who love films and would like the opportunity to practice their English and meet new friends.

A variety of thought-provoking English-language movies of different genres will be shown throughout the term and used as a basis for discussion. Participants will meet in the Language Commons Theater to watch a film together. Useful film-related vocabulary and discussion questions will be given to facilitate discussion of the film in groups.

Cinematopia is an interesting and meaningful way for students of English to develop both their speaking and listening skills and to meet like-minded lovers of film.

Please click here to know more about our facilitator, Mr. Graham England.
