Beyond the Classroom: Volunteer Learning, Community Impact and Future Skills
Join us for the UTOP2401 Final Showcase: Volunteer Impact Abroad and hear HKUST students share the real stories behind their volunteer teaching placements in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Discover how they adapted to unfamiliar cultures, difficult living and teaching conditions, limited resources and unexpected challenges — and how these experiences helped them build resilience, confidence, intercultural communication and problem-solving skills.
You will also hear from industry guests about the skills employers value in HKUST graduates.
