Workshop 1: Cantonese for Putonghua & English Speakers 港漂借機學廣東話

Description: The workshops use simplified Chinese characters in both Chinese and English, with each character using the phonetic alphabet to teach popular conversation and professional expressions. Participants will be able to speak Cantonese in different contexts.

Time: 

  1. 14:30-15:00 : Tones 廣東話聲調
  2. 15:00-15:30 : Pop songs 流行曲
  3. 15:30-16:00 : Interview Cantonese 求職面試廣東話

Workshop 2: Korean on the run

Description: By participating in this event, you'll gain a better understanding of Korean culture and K-pop through the Korean language. You'll be able to read Korean menus and order food, as well as grasp the meanings behind K-pop lyrics.

Time: 

  1. 14:30-15:00 : Simple Greetings and Self-Introduction
  2. 15:00-15:30: The meanings behind the Korean foods
  3. 15:30-16:00: Random play K-pops and getting to know the lyrics

Workshop 3: Spanish on the run

Description: This workshop series invites students to experience the joy and cultural richness of Spanish music including Flamenco, Salsa, Andean Music and Tango. Participants can gain hands-on exposure to these fun and culturally significant activities. Through these games, students will learn key Spanish vocabulary, explore the cultural roots of each rythm, and engage in meaningful peer interactions in a lively and inclusive environment.

Time: 

  1. 14:30-15:00 : Introduction to Spanish music
  2. 15:00-15:30: Introduction to Latin genres
  3. 15:30-16:00: Interactive Games
